Global Flute Excellence Awards
Last Updated: July 20, 2026
1. Introduction
The Global Flute Excellence Awards (“the Awards,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) are an independent international recognition initiative dedicated to acknowledging outstanding artistic, educational, cultural, and professional contributions within the global flute community.
By accessing this website, submitting a nomination, participating as a nominee, juror, award recipient, or otherwise engaging with the Awards, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Independent Nature of the Awards
The Global Flute Excellence Awards operate as an independent professional recognition program.
Participation in the Awards does not create any contractual relationship, employment relationship, partnership, agency, or entitlement between participants and the Global Flute Excellence Awards.
3. Eligibility and Scope
Eligibility requirements, award categories, and evaluation criteria are published on the official Awards website and related documentation.
Except where explicitly stated (such as the Lifetime Achievement Award), all award categories recognize achievements and contributions made during the designated award year.
Achievements from outside the award year may provide context but are not independently determinative.
4. Nominations
Nominations may be submitted by third parties or by nominees themselves.
All nominations must be complete, accurate, and submitted in accordance with the published guidelines.
Submission of a nomination does not guarantee eligibility, shortlisting, jury evaluation, or receipt of an award.
The Global Flute Excellence Awards reserve the right to determine that a nomination is ineligible if it does not meet the published criteria or lacks sufficient supporting documentation.
5. Accuracy of Information
Nominators are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and verifiability of all submitted information, statements, and supporting materials.
The Global Flute Excellence Awards are not responsible for errors, omissions, or misrepresentations contained in submitted materials.
6. Review and Jury Evaluation
Eligible nominations undergo an initial review to verify relevance and compliance with the published eligibility requirements.
Only eligible nominations proceed to evaluation by an independent international jury.
Jurors evaluate nominations primarily on the information and supporting materials submitted by the nominator and in accordance with the published evaluation criteria. Jurors do not ordinarily conduct independent investigations beyond the submitted materials.
7. Jury Decisions
All jury decisions are final.
The Global Flute Excellence Awards do not provide individual feedback, scoring details, or explanations regarding jury deliberations.
The Awards reserve the right not to confer an award in any category if, in the professional judgment of the jury, the published standards of excellence have not been sufficiently met.
8. Non-Selection
Non-selection does not imply a lack of artistic merit, professional excellence, or contribution to the flute community.
The Awards do not rank participants and do not claim to represent a comprehensive evaluation of every artist, organization, educator, composer, maker, or initiative within the global flute field.
9. Conflict of Interest and Governance
Jurors are selected for their expertise, independence, and international perspective.
The Global Flute Excellence Awards maintain internal ethical and governance standards designed to promote fairness, impartiality, transparency, and professional integrity, including the appropriate management of potential conflicts of interest.
The Awards reserve the right to adjust jury assignments or evaluation procedures whenever necessary to uphold these principles.
10. Recognition, Titles, and Intellectual Property
Award titles, certificates, digital badges, logos, and related materials are the intellectual property of the Global Flute Excellence Awards.
Recipients may use these materials solely to indicate verified recognition by the Awards.
These materials may not be modified, altered, transferred, sold, reproduced for unauthorized purposes, or used in any manner that implies endorsement beyond the scope of the award.
The names Global Flute Excellence Awards and associated logos are protected brand assets and may not be used without prior written permission except as expressly authorized for award recipients.
11. Global Flute Excellence Directory
Award recipients may receive a complimentary featured listing in the Global Flute Excellence Directory.
Inclusion in the Directory constitutes professional recognition but does not represent certification, accreditation, endorsement, or a commercial partnership.
12. Website Content
The information provided on this website is intended for general informational purposes.

Any revised version becomes effective immediately upon publication on this website. Continued participation in the Awards or continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Principles
