Global Flute Excellence Awards

Last updated: January 1st, 2026

1. Introduction

The Global Flute Excellence Awards (“the Awards”) are an independent, international recognition initiative dedicated to acknowledging outstanding artistic, educational, cultural, and professional contributions within the global flute community.

By accessing the Awards website, submitting a nomination, participating as a nominee, juror, or award recipient, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Independent Nature of the Awards

The Global Flute Excellence Awards operate as an independent professional recognition program.

Participation in the Awards does not create any contractual relationship, employment relationship, agency, partnership, or entitlement between participants and the Awards organization.

3. Eligibility and Scope

Eligibility requirements, category definitions, and evaluation criteria are defined on the Awards website and related official documentation.

Except where explicitly stated (Lifetime Achievement Award), all award categories evaluate time-specific impact within the designated award year.

Achievements outside the award year may provide contextual background but are not independently determinative.

4. Nominations

▪︎ Nominations may be submitted by third parties or by nominees themselves.
All nominations must be complete, accurate, and submitted in accordance with stated guidelines.

▪︎ Submission of a nomination does not guarantee eligibility, shortlisting, jury evaluation, or receipt of an award.

▪︎ The Awards reserve the right to deem nominations ineligible if they do not meet stated criteria or lack sufficient documentation.

5. Accuracy of Information

Nominators are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and verifiability of all submitted information, statements, and supporting materials.

The Global Flute Excellence Awards are not responsible for errors, omissions, or misrepresentations contained in submitted materials.

6. Review and Jury Evaluation

Eligible nominations undergo an initial review for relevance and compliance with category criteria.

Only nominations that meet these requirements proceed to evaluation by an independent international jury.

Jurors evaluate nominations based solely on submitted materials and published evaluation criteria. Jurors do not conduct independent investigations beyond the provided information.

7. Jury Decisions

All jury decisions are final and binding.
The Global Flute Excellence Awards do not provide individual feedback, scoring details, or explanations of jury deliberations.

The Awards reserve the right not to confer an award in any category if, in the jury’s professional judgment, the criteria are not sufficiently met.

8. Non-Selection

Non-selection does not imply a lack of merit, artistic quality, or professional standing.

The Awards do not rank participants and do not claim to represent a comprehensive evaluation of the global flute field.

9. Conflict of Interest and Governance

Jurors are selected for their expertise, independence, and international perspective.

The Awards maintain internal ethical and governance standards to ensure fairness, impartiality, and integrity, including the management of potential conflicts of interest.

The Awards reserve the right to adjust jury assignments or procedures to uphold these principles.

10. Recognition, Titles, and Materials

Award titles, certificates, digital badges, logos, and related materials are the intellectual property of the Global Flute Excellence Awards.

Recipients may use these materials solely to indicate verified recognition.

They may not be altered, transferred, sold, or used in a manner that implies endorsement beyond the scope of the award.

11. Global Flute Excellence Directory

Award recipients may receive a complimentary featured listing in the Global Flute Excellence Directory.

Inclusion in the Directory constitutes professional recognition but does not imply certification, endorsement, or commercial partnership.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Global Flute Excellence Awards shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Awards or reliance on any recognition granted.

13. Modifications

The Global Flute Excellence Awards reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued participation following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Principles

These Terms & Conditions are governed by principles of fairness, transparency, and professional integrity.
The Awards exist to document and recognize excellence responsibly, not to function as rankings, competitions, or commercial endorsements.

15. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in any aspect of the Global Flute Excellence Awards constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.
