Final Nominees Announced: A Global Portrait of Flute Excellence in 2025

The Global Flute Excellence Awards are honored to announce the final nominees for the current awards cycle.

The 2025 Global Flute Excellence Awards recognize outstanding contributions to the flute world across performance, composition, education, innovation, and advocacy. This year’s final nominees include 22 artists, makers, and institutions representing 14 countries worldwide.

The nomination period concluded with an exceptionally strong level of submissions and an unexpectedly varied outcome. While some categories resulted in a single defining nominee, others revealed a highly competitive field of up to five candidates. This diversity reflects both the breadth of activity within the global flute community and the seriousness with which nominations were prepared.

All nominations were reviewed with care, attention to context, and respect for the year under consideration. The nominees listed below represent contributions that demonstrated clarity of impact, artistic integrity, and meaningful significance within their respective fields.
